Hagen a.T.W.: Quintus’ Premiere

That he’s wonderful and courageous, of that Quintus left no doubt when he competed in the first Louisdor qualifier in Hagen on Saturday. Even though it was our first show together, his first test in the most difficult class and — more importantly — his first appearance in such surroundings, he stayed with me bravely and — even though nervous —
showed many highlights that I hope made the spectators and judges want to see more.

With 70,8% and a fourth place we easily made the cut for today’s final qualification. Unfortunately he had a slightly raised temperature, though, so that we withdrew him from the competition. But I’m really looking forward to the
next try!
